Kashmir Embroidery Collection

Kashmir is famous the world over for its soft, silky pashmina wool and its exquisitely embroidered or amlikar shawls. These are hand woven with the finest, cleaned taafta pashmina derived from the Changra goat from the Tibetan plateau. This collection showcases hand-picked shawls and stoles intricately crafted by masters in the ever-popular paisley, maple leaf (Chinar Patta) and floral motifs. The reversible embroidery on several of these pieces using paper-mache and sozani techniques, takes double the time of the one-sided one. Their exceptional quality is simply magical!
